A'Las!

My camera has arrived, and my mother has very lovingly allowed me to have it six weeks before my birthday in order to improve my blog. Here she is (the camera, not my mother):

I don't really know the specs because it's my first DSLR, so I got the one that was good for beginners and reasonably priced. I don't have my tripod yet though, so no outfit posts today I'm afraid, but I've already taken some pictures of products and reviewed them ready to post!

Just A Quickie

(School girl giggles at the use of the word quickie.) I just wanted to give you all a quick update about what's going on in the world of Michelle, as yet again my beloved Impure Couture has been neglected for the past week.

I have just this moment sent off my UCAS application though, and I am thoroughly relieved, but also extremely nervous (have I filled it in right? Have I missed anything?) so while that gnaws at my soul, I am free to rejoin the world of blogging!

I just want to thank you all for following me, and anyone that has left me a comment, it really does mean a lot, even though there's only a few of you compared to some of the bigger blogs!

Anyway, as I said it is just a quickie, but just thought I'd let you know that I've got my mum to order my camera and tripod for my birthday (even though it's not until December) and I'll be getting a kindle for christmas - how exciting!

Wish me luck for my UCAS, and I hope everyone else is doing well!

The Return Of The Jedi

Hello there! Firstly, I want to apologise for going AWOL, but in between applying for university, doing coursework, doing college work, doing part-time job work I've barely had time to breathe let alone write on my blog. So very very sorry for my lack of posting, but it's been difficult as well because I have so many ideas that I have, that just don't seem possible without a camera, and it's another 2 months until I'll be getting one.

Anyway, enough of the rambling and onto fashion! I did venture into Primark this month, but unfortunately I only purchased a jumper and some tights, as I just didn't want to spend money on things that I didn't think were that good quality and would fall to pieces before I got them home. I am happy with my jumper though, it's a thick knit and should keep me warm throughout winter! Also in my effort's to save money this month, I had a trip to Peacocks and purchased:


I also bought myself some leapoard print brogues which I absolutely love! And all the stuff at Peacocks is so reasonably priced it's hard to say no. Although, unfortunately I have run out of money again - I will learn to save one of these days! Although I am playing with the idea of buying myself the Alexander Wang Rocco, which will set me back around £800 so best wait for a while!

The mid-season sales have just started in a lot of stores,  such as Miss Selfridge, and River Island's is starting online tomorrow. I think I'm personally going to treat myself to a maxi-skirt!
